About SharTech
SharTech is an independent technology blog about software development, AI tools, cloud infrastructure and security. The goal is simple: explain what’s actually happening in tech, what it means for people who build software, and how to use it, without hype.
Most articles fall into three kinds:
- Practical guides with working code and commands, such as reading PostgreSQL query plans, securing a private Git repository, or building a local knowledge graph with open-source tools.
- Explainers on news that matters to developers, such as changes to Git, Android sideloading rules or new AI models, focused on what changed and what to do about it.
- Tool overviews that compare real options and are honest about their limits.
Who writes it
SharTech is written by Malik Shamir, a software developer who works on web applications day to day, mainly on the frontend with Angular and TypeScript, along with full-stack and AI projects. The blog started as a way to write down what I learn while building things, in a form that’s useful to other developers.
How articles are written
- Sources are linked. Factual claims are based on primary sources where possible (official documentation, announcements, research papers and reputable reporting), listed at the end of each article.
- Code is meant to run. Examples are written to work as shown, and I note when an API is new or still changing.
- AI tools are used, openly. I use AI tools to help with research and drafting, the same way many developers use them for code. What gets published is checked against the sources and edited before it goes live.
- Corrections are made in the open. If an article gets something wrong, it’s corrected and, for significant errors, a note is added to the post.
- No paid placements. Articles aren’t sponsored. If that ever changes, sponsored content will be clearly labelled.
